Flexible Screw Conveyor:
Simplicity, Versatility, Performance

Convey bulk materials ranging from
large granules to submicron powders.

Wide application range. Flexible screw conveyors (also known as spiral conveyor or auger conveyor) are typically used to move materials between bulk bag dischargers, storage vessels, manual bag dump (sack tip) or drum dump stations, screeners, crushers, blenders, reactors, packaging equipment, injection molding and extrusion machines, and other process equipment.

Only one moving part - the stainless or carbon steel screw auger - contacts the material in a UniTrak flexible screw conveyor. The material is never in contact with bearings or seals because our simple, durable design has no need of the filters, internal bearings, cyclone separators, and other moving parts required by rigid augers, drag chains or pneumatic conveyors.

Consistant, free flow of product. The rotating steel screw auger automatically self-centers within the tube, creating clearance between screw and tube wall to allow particles to flow freely.

Easy cleaning - No cracks or crevices. No filters or bearings. Nothing to trap particles or breed contamination. At the intake end of the conveyor tube a removable cleanout cap allows your operator to quickly empty and flush the tube. Simply remove the cleanout cap and reverse rotation to evacuate any residual material. The screw auger and outer tube can also be removed for thorough cleaning.

Not for continuous shifts. Unlike a TipTrak bucket elevator, a flex auger conveyor is not desgined for, or suited to, 24/7 operation. With intermittent operation, it's a reliable, portable performer for an extensive range of materials.

Bucket conveyor: Open TipTrak™ - our most
popular solution (for many good reasons)

All TipTrak™ bucket elevator conveyors have
the same hard-working, super-efficient heart and guts.

Our base model, the Open TipTrak is the workhorse of
choice if you're not moving dangerous materials,
or where a controlled environment is not required.

Simplest form, best price, identical function.
We don't cut corners for price. Working parts and performance are identical
in all TipTraks - but the Open frame design, which supports but doesn't
enclose the buckets, creates significant economies in materials.

In all ways, the Open TipTrak delivers on our promise of the gentlest
handling, the least spillage, the lowest possible maintenance, and the
quietest operation of any mechanical elevating device.

Advantages and options of an Open TipTrack™ bucket conveyor
Very easy to clean. Constant eyeball monitoring of your operation.
Optional carbon steel or stainless steel… square tubing or round. Where
required, personnel guards can be fitted to meet government safety
standards and still provide maximum visibility and easy access.

Aeromechanical conveyors: Powderflight™

Dust-free solution for a wide variety of food and chemical materials.
Dependable high output. Clean handling. Affordable cost.

How an aeromechanical conveyor works
Powderflight™ aeromechanical conveyors operate on a simple principle. Within a tube of mild or stainless steel, a wire rope with evenly spaced discs travels at high speed, running in sprockets at each end of the conveyor. The high speed action generates an internal air stream traveling at the same high velocity as the discs. As material is fed in, the air stream aerates or fluidizes it and carries it to the outlet, where it is discharged by centrifugal force.
